Sam is an experienced Marketing Communications professional with a demonstrated history of working in various industries. She is skilled in Digital and Social Media, Brand and Event Management, PR & Media Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Communications.
She is a seasoned blogger, having started this digital platform turned Non-Profit Organisation called Womandla.com, which is aimed at informing, equipping and inspiring women in Africa. This has afforded her an invitation to the United Nations in Bangkok.

Yolanda Maheang, our Head of Mentorship, is a Quality Project Analyst at GSK (Glaxo Smith Kline).
She graduated in Analytical Chemist at CPUT, and has also worked for Johnson and Johnson in a Quality Operation Lab. She has a certificate in Quality Assurance and also pursuing a Quality Audit certificate.
She’s a young entrepreneur, loves wellness and fitness and has always wanted to help people. She is passionate about empowering and mentoring women and believes in their power. She used to do spiritual dancing at dance school and is a proud wife and a mom of two handsome boys.
Somila Cuntu, is a Deputy Director at the Department of Local Government.
She is experienced in Intergovernmental Relations and Development planning with a demonstrated history of working in the local government ambit. A young and dynamic professional, skilled in municipal strategic planning processes as well as liaising with various stakeholders across different spheres of government, non-profit organizations, the private sector and other organized groups.
She holds a Masters degree in Development Studies from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, where she fulfilled her research on the developmental impact of Microfinance on economically excluded women.
Liziwe Segano is a PR & Communication Strategist. She has lectured and mentored Public Relations students in Cape Peninsula University of Technology since 2014. She uses communication strategy as a tool to empower and add value to causes that benefit young women and youth.
Called to be a builder and repairer of broken walls in this generation, Liziwe is a strong believer in transformation that starts from the inside out.
She holds a Bachelor of Technology Public Relations Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where she is currently completing her Masters in Public Relations and Communication.
Rumbi Maisva is Quality Assurance Analyst (QA). She studied a double major in Accounting and Computer Science and completed her Honours in Information Systems and Auditing. She is here to represent women in STEM.
She has been involved in the Code4CT initiative and believes there is a gap in knowledge in terms of the vast roles that are available in IT and a lot of fear for women to pursue IT roles. Part of her involvement with Code4CT has been speaking and sharing her life story of how she ended up in IT and the challenges that she had to overcome, the hard work required and the possibility thereof of Women in IT.
